What are Micro-greens?

Micro-greens are the seedlings of common mature vegetables, not to be confused with sprouts. Micro-greens are a form of superfood, that are highly trending (and for good reason). Well known by chefs, these small greens are grown from vegetables and herbs, and they are full of important vitamins and minerals! In fact, a study conducted by the University of Maryland and the USDA found micro-greens contain four to forty times more nutrients than their mature counterparts. When adding micro-greens to your meal, you eat stem and leaves. In your kitchen, adding these tiny greens to the top of your favorite dish will transfer your experience from basic to WOW.
